The NEVA-LEADER 7 dry-cargo vessel of deadweight 7150 t built by Nevsky Shipyard for Northwestern Shipping Company passed its sea acceptance trials. The design was carried out by St. Petersburg Marine Engineering Bureau. Ten ships of similar design are being built by Nevsky Shipyard for Northwestern Shipping Company. They can be used for transportation of general, bulk, timber, grain and large-size and hazardous cargoes internationally.
By 2015, the Russian Navy will have included twelve new multipurpose boats of type 23370. The boats are being built by KAMPO, Orekhovo-Zuyevo. The first boat of this type was launched in August 2013 and is currently being tested by the Leningrad Naval Base. Eight new boats will be delivered to the Baltic Fleet. In addition, four boats of type 23370 will be included into the Caspian fleet. In the fleet, the new ships will be used for solving a wide range of tasks, including search-and-rescue operations, firefighting and medical support.
In accordance with State Defence Order 2013, the State Commission consisting of the Navy representatives and Manufacturer is finishing to accept two newest small missile ships, the Grad Sviyazhsk and the Uglich, for the Caspian fleet. Currently, the lead ship Grad Sviyazhsk (small missile ship) successfully passed all the state tests. The ship crew and the shipbuilders trial team are revising the weapon systems, gears and mechanisms. The inspection board members are drawing up the ship acceptance certificate.
Zvyozdochka Shiprepair Centre, Severodvinsk completed repair of the Admiral Levchenko frigate. The shipbuilders managed to do it for a very short period of ten days. On 5 December, the Admiral Levchenko frigate was sent to the permanent base. Repair works were conducted on a tight schedule due to the state important task set before the ship.
In Vladivostok (the trial base of Khabarovsk Shipyard), the RN Amur tug has successfully passed sea trials. It is the first of the two azimuthal tugs of type 2310 built by Khabarovsk Shipyard for Rosneft. A small powerful ship of Arctic class ARC4 is designed for year-round coastal voyage in sea areas at maximum roughness with a wave height up to 7 m. Apart from towing and pushing, the ship can fight fires.
