Severnaya Verf (Northern Shipyard), St Petersburg, was searched through by investigators concerning the documents relating to the multibillion fraud case. The case was initiated when the company had its previous managers. It is the criminal case opened in 2011 and related to the Severnaya Verf managers, as they had almost broken the state defence order. It will be recalled that this threat appeared after the enterprise transferred 5.9 billion roubles of budgetary funds (allocated for the ship construction) to save Mezhprombank resulted in bankrupting in autumn 2010.
Nobel Shipyard, the Moscow Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard, laid a keel of the second serial buoyage vessel of type 3052. The designer is Rechflot.

The decision to merge the assets was made by the Board of Directors of the United Shipbuilding Corporation at the end of October. Both bureaus specialise in designing icebreakers.
Krylov State Research Centre has designed a multipurpose dry-cargo vessel of Arctic class, with unrestricted navigation area. The ship will allow to transport spent nuclear fuel of the research and power reactors in special sealed transport packages of TUK ŠKODA VPVR/M, TUK-19, TUK-18, TUK-13 and TUK-6 types as well as to reduce the number of transshipments of radioactive cargo at intermediate ports.

Krylov State Research Centre in cooperation with Fincantieri S.p.A. shipbuilding corporation, Italy, has started a large-scale project on designing a modern high-technology drilling vessel. In Trieste, under the Russian-Italian Business Forum, the company signed a Memorandum on the first joint project.
Yantar Baltic Shipyard is completing to repair a small landing hovercraft, Evgeny Kocheshkov. The shipyard specialists are repairing the propellers, fuel tanks and the small landing hovercraft bottom. In addition, the shipbuilders will install a new flexible seal, namely the wall member to create an air cushion underneath. The repair is planned to be completed by the end of this year. Then, the ship will return to her permanent location in Baltiysk, where after passing several tasks, she will commence combat practice.
