The crew of Stoiky corvette (Type 20380) has successfully completed the state sea acceptance trials in the course of which the representatives of the trial crew together with ship's crew and state inspection board checked speed and maneuverability characteristics of the corvette, reliable functioning of all assemblies and systems, navigation and electronic facilities as well as ship's weapons. Currently the Stoiky is heading to Severnaya Verf shipyard in St. Petersburg to be inspected.
On 29 April Vyborg Shipyard will launch the Type 21900 М icebreaker. The ship will be named Vladivostok. She will be followed by Murmansk and Novorossiysk. By May 2015 the vessel is to be handed over to the customer. The icebreaker of Type 21900 М is capable of going through ice up to 1.5 m thick. Its main purpose is pilotage of large-capacity vessels, towing, firefighting in floating facilities and other facilities, supporting ships in distress, cargo transportation.
Krasnoye Sormovo plant concluded a contract with Rosmorport for building three dredging vessels for Russian ports. Design and construction are included in the terms of the contract. Rosmorport ordered three hopper dredgers for seaports of Ust-Luga, Tuapse and the Big Port St. Petersburg at Krasnoe Sormovo plant. These vessels make part of operating fleet and have never been built before at the Russian shipbuilding plants. Their main applications are: dredging along navigable paths, berths, harbour and water areas and other hydraulic operations to increase or keep the necessary depth.
On 26 April, Nevsky Shipyard will lay the keel of the medium sea tanker of Type 23130 being built for the Russian Ministry of Defence. The event will be followed by an official launching ceremony of the Neva-Leader 8 cargo ship of Volgo-Don-Max class (Type RSD49) with deadweight of 7143 t being built by Northwestern Shipping Company.
The new rescue tug of Type 22870 SB-45 of the Caspian Fleet put out to the Caspian sea to start the sea acceptance trials. This is the first sailing after construction and launching. The tug SB-45 is designed for rescue and emergency operations as part of the Caspian Fleet at the Astrakhan branch of Zvezdochka Shiprepair Centre. The main purpose of the tug is towing and refloating ships and vessels, firefighting on board distressed ships and at onshore facilities, evacuating people and rendering first aid, supplying power and holding the ship afloat, conducting underwater operations at a depth of 60 m as well as collecting oil products from the bottom of the sea and conducting search and survey operations.
The delegation led by Eom Hyang Seob, the executive vice-president of one of the leading shipbuilding companies DSME (Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering), made a business visit to Primorsky krai. The south-Korean shipbuilders saw the first construction stage of Zvezda shipbuilding facility. After inspecting the construction progress at the headquarters of Far Eastern Shipbuilding Centre they held a business meeting. The Russian participants were Igor Borbot, the head of localisation and technology department of Rosneft Oil Company; Yuri Filchyonok, the director general of the Far Eastern Zvezda Shipyard; Roman Gorbunov, deputy director general of Far East Southern Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Centre. The sides discussed future potential cooperation in design and construction of supply vessels and maritime platforms.
Last Friday, the head of Rosatom Sergei Kirienko held a meeting with company's management team and the representatives of the United Shipbuilding Corporation. Above all, the participants discussed the building of two serial nuclear icebreakers LK-60. They agree on that 84.4 milliard roubles proposed by Rostatom is enough and therefore the shipbuilding company of St. Petersburg will fulfill the shipbuilding order of state corporation. Baltic shipyard will submit the proposal for the Rosatom tender once more.
By 2025 far-eastern shipbuilding plants will have received orders for 780 billion roubles. The Russian vice prime minister Dmitry Rogozin announced the fact by twitter. On Thursday Mr. Rogozin visited Amur shipyard. He met the employees, over a hundred of whom are Crimean and Ukrainian specialists. The vice prime minister spoke out in favour of hiring the qualified personnel from Crimea and Ukraine by far-eastern shipbuilding companies.

The list consists of twenty-three companies. The military men will start planning their work load upon licensing and reregistration of enterprises. There are six shipbuilding companies in Crimea. In Sevastopol they are Sevastopol maritime plant; Sevmormash company; Metallist shiprepair yard, Balaklava; Chernomorets central design bureau. In Feodosiya they are Stekloplastik company, Feodosiya ship engineering plant and More shipbuilding company (Sea). In Kerch it is Zaliv shipbuilding plant.
