On 13 December the More Shipyard launched the Krym-1133T high-speed passenger boat. The shipyard proceeded to the yard trials. According to Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Krym-1133T is perfect for river and sea transportation. The boat is suitable for regular passenger service and tourism.

The company handed over 7 pontoon jetties. From them, 3 fabricated of steel and 3 from reinforced concrete constructed for the Russian Navy are already delivered to the Black Sea Fleet and Northern Fleet. The 7th one, type PM61-M medium-weight steel pontoon jetty was handed over to the Border Guard Service.

Yamal LNG has sold the first 170K cu m batch of gas to a Malaysian company
Yamal LNG, a natural gas liquefying factory, sold the first LNG cargo batch of 170K cu m to Malaysian Petronas LNG UK Limited (PLUK), according to Novatek. LNG supplies under long-term contracts shall begin in April 2018. First gas volumes shall be sold by the main shareholders on the spot market.
The Yantar hydrographic vessel has arrived in Buenos Aires
Russian Yantar hydrographic vessel has arrived in Buenos Aires port from searching San Juan submarine. Earlier the Argentinean Navy press office stated that the vessel should go to Buenos Aires for replenishment. According to Navy official representative Enrique Balbi, Yantar shall return to the operational zone on 19 December or so.
Russian Arctic Basin cargo turnover increased by 50.6% up to 67,2M tons from January to November 2017
The Russian Arctic Basin cargo turnover reached 67.23M tons between January and November 2017. This exceeds the previous year's same period by 50.6%, according to the Commercial Seaport Association of Russia. Cargo turnover increase rate suffered some decline in the said period. Cargo turnover increase gradually declined between January and May from 69.7%.

Delivery of fish from Far East to Arkhangelsk and farther to the European part of the country will promote development of the Northern Sea Route. According to the governor, goods for the northern territories and military goods may be transported in reverse direction. "Now, negotiations are in progress in this regard," said the governor.

Rerouting the Nord Stream II caused by possible ban on the construction in the Danish territorial waters may result in extended terms and additional costs, but the project will be completed anyway. "It [Denmark's position] may affect the terms of the marine construction part. Possible rerouting will demand additional survey and design activities and entail additional costs," said Yanovsky in the interview to the Nefte Compass magazine.

China and Japan have agreed to expand relationships between their defense bodies and achieved some progress in establishing an air and maritime information exchange mechanism. According to them, the port will be actually well away from the Sabetta port built for Yamal LNG, at the other side of Gulf of Ob; however, officially it will be the same port.

On 14 December, a united Gazprom and Shell (UK/Holland) delegation visited the Ust-Luga commercial sea port. The visit was aimed at cooperation planned for construction of the Baltic LNG project. The 10M t/y natural gas liquefying plant is planned to be built to the north from the Ust-Luga port area for export by seagoing ships.
