The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and the Indian Register of Shipping – IACS member societies – have signed a bilateral agreement replacing the old signed in 2000 and it is aimed at improving the shipping industry being implemented by the leading classification societies.
Dry cargo vessel “NEVA-LIDER 2” with deadweight of 7.150 tons, RSD49 project has successfully completed acceptance tests at LLC “Nevsky Shipyard”. The vessel was transferred to the Customer - JSC “North-Western Shipping Company”. The project is designed by JSC “Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-St. Petersburg”.

A solemn ceremony to transfer frigate “Tarkash” of 11.356 project to the Indian Navy has taken place at JSC Baltic Shipyard “Yantar”. The last sixth frigate of “Trikand” (Luk) series will be transferred to the Indian Navy in summer next year.

Routine maintenance operations to prepare ships and vessels to winter dockage have started in naval bases of naval forces of the Caspian Fleet — ports of Astrakhan and Makhachkala.

Towing vessel “Reydovy – 40” has been renamed to “Energetik Zimtsov” at JSC “Cheboksary River Port”.

The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping has concluded an agreement with the Maritime Administration of Belgium to delegate authorities for statutory surveys and issue on behalf of the Maritime Administration relevant documents for the vessels sailing under the flag of Belgium. Belgium became the 70th state of the flag, including the 16th EU member state delegated authority of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping to the recognized organization.

The amount of financing in the state program to develop shipbuilding will be more than 600 bln. RUR, including from the budget - 330 bln. RUR. Previously reported that the project defines directions to develop advanced models of military equipment and weapons and competitive civil products. This, in particular, includes scientific marine vessels, offshore vessels, cargo carriers of the reinforced ice class, as well as research vessels.

The 64th birthday from the day of establishing the shipyard has been celebrated at Vyborg Shipyard. Recently, the enterprise has received an order to build another third icebreaker with power of 16 MW of 21.900М project for USC and FSUE “RosMorPort”. Displacement - about 10.000 tons, length - 116 meters, and breadth – 26.5 meters. The vessel is able to overcome the ice up to 1.5 meters. Delivery date is scheduled for August, 2015. The icebreaker cost is estimated at 4.1 bln. RUR. The designer is “BaltSudProject”.

“Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association” has completed building a fixed platform for “Zhdanov” field in the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea. The Customer is Dragon Oil Turkmenistan Ltd. The Contractor is LLC “CNRG Projects”. Sea installation is LLC “Crane Marine Contractor”. Characteristics of the wellhead platform: support base - 40 х 20 х 32.5., weight – 1.350 t.; superstructure - 65 х45 х 6.7, and weight – 1350 t. Parameters of the accommodation platform: support base – 20 х 20 х 32.5., weight 375 t.; superstructure – 35 х 25 х 6.7., weight 350 t.

FSUE “RosMorPort” is getting down implementing the project of a berthing complex for icebreakers of the enterprise. According to the contract terms, the Customer is RosMorRechFlot, the Builder is FSUE “RosMorPort”, the General Contractor is LLC “INZHTRANSSTROY Corporation”. The berthing complex will consist of a berthing front, operating water area, utility networks, and offshore platform with motor road. The complex will include two quays with a length of 546 and 243 m and breadth of 25 m, as well as wing walls of the quay with a length of 62 m. Bottom dredging is provided for.

An anti-diversionary boat of the series “Grachonok” arrived in Novorossiysk naval base is passing state tests to be accepted by the Black Sea Fleet. The Designer is JSC DB “Vympel”, it was built at Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky and is designed to combat with subversive and terrorist units in water areas of naval bases and near approaches to them.

An acceptance certificate to the Customer of lead salvage vessel “Spasatel Karev” of MPSV07 project built at LLC “Nevsky Shipyard” has been signed. The vessel is designed for the Baltic Basin Emergency and Rescue Administration of Gosmorspassluzhba of Russia. The project is designed by CJSC “Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-St. Petersburg”.

A draft program to develop fishery complex of the Primorsky Kray with a proposal to create a fish processing cluster with an auction trading platform was introduced. For this purpose, it is planned to build modern processing facilities and seriously modernize the existing, implement new technologies, and develop market mechanisms.

The lead vessel of combat service support “Elbrus” of 23.120 project with displacement of 10.000 t has been laid down at “Severnaya Shipyard” for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Transport will be engaged in delivering cargo to remote military ports and vessels in long-distance campaigns. The project has a high ice class, reinforced hull and powerful engines.
