Ozernaya Verf (Laky Shipyard) launched a special police patrol boat (Type 14M, serial No. 05) named Nikolai Nikiforov. The Customer is Northwestern Logistics Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The police speed patrol boat is designed for inspection and patrol as part of divisions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs with special staff and passengers on board. After trials, the boat will be prepared and delivered to the Customer in the southern regions of Russia. Rosneft oil company plans to get a ship-repair plant No. 82 in the village of Roslyakovo, Murmansk Region. This is because the company seeks to strengthen its positions at the Arctic shelf. According to experts, buying the shiprepair plant No. 82 by the Rosneft will be a great measure for the industry in whole. Currently, Roslyakovo Plant, which is one of the key objects of the Northern Fleet, serves for not only the United Shipbuilding Corporation, but also the Russian Navy.
The Burevestnik airfoil boat was delivered to Yakutsk. The engineers of the Manufacturer and the crew started to assemble the ship. The airfoil boat creators classify the vessel as an amphibian one due to non-standard and aerodynamic design. The vessel is a one-and-a-half plane with a lower disc wing.
