The designer is Alexeyev Central Hydrofoil Design Bureau, Nizhny Novgorod. The Kometa 120M is based on Kometa, Kolkhida, Katran hydrofoils and is intended for transporting passengers in coastal sea areas. The hydrofoil speed is 35 knots.
Kirov-Energomash Plant (subsidiary of Kirov Plant) won the tender to construct the installation for the lead multi-purpose nuclear ice-breaker of Type 22220, as reports the press office of the plant. The equipment developed by Kirov-Energomash Plant is intended for power supply of electric propulsion installations and ship's consumers of multi-purpose nuclear ice-breaker. The steam-turbine installation includes two main turbo-generators with a capacity of 36 MW each, consisting of a steam turbine with control system and generator; feeding, condensate, circulating pumps and other auxiliary systems and mechanisms.
Before the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan, Gorky Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant took a solemn ceremony of keel-laying of the sixth of the serial small missile ships of Type 21631 designed by Zelenodolsk Design Bureau for the Russian Navy. Licenses are valid up to 1 January 2022 and 1 January 2023, respectively. Now, Baltic Shipyard may construct RITM-200 nuclear installations for the first and second serial icebreakers of Type 22220.

The contract between Krasnoye Sormovo Plant (involving MNP Group) and the Turkmenistan State Service on Sea and River Transportation was signed on 27 March this year. Under the terms and conditions of the contract, two tankers of Type 19900 of deadweight 7100 t will be constructed for Turkmenistan. The customer named the tanker Aladzha.
Pella Leningrad Shipyard completed sea acceptance trials of the Raptor patrol boat of Type 03160 designed and built by the Russian Navy order.

The Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping and Nordic Yards Wismar GMBH signed a contract on in-construction classification and survey of two vessels of Type MPSV 06 NY. The activities to be conducted for approving the compliance of vessels with the requirements of applicable international conventions. The multipurpose rescue icebreakers with power of 7 MW will be constructed by 2015 under the technical supervision of the Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping at the shipyard in Wismar, Germany under the federal target programme "Development of Transport Infrastructure of Russia for 2010 to 2015". This was ordered by the Federal Agency for Sea and River Transportation.
Under the Federal Target Programme "Development of Transport Infrastructure of Russia for 2010 to 2015", considering the growing extent of crude hydrocarbon production at sea and the relative transportation by sea, the multipurpose rescue vessels are put into construction to improve equipment of accident rescue units of Rosmorrechflot. Except for eight vessels, which have been already handed over to the customer, another six vessels will be built to perform all the rescue operations.
The cooperation agreement was signed between Krylov State Research Centre and Gazprom. Cooperation will be carried out in research and development activities to create new marine equipment for integrated development of the Russian continental shelf at the licence blocks of Gazprom. The parties are confident that the sharing of their production and scientific potential will promote the economic development of Russia and strengthening of scientific and technical potential of Gazprom and Krylov State Research Centre.
Some employees of Korsakov Commercial Seaport are suspected of fraud for the amount of 140 million roubles, as reports BBC. A criminal case was opened against eight of the port workers as per the article "Abuse of Authority". According to the investigation, since 2010 to 2013, the employees and heads of the port illegally transferred money belonging to the company to the accounts of subsidiary companies thus stealing the port funds.
