The sixth tanker of project RST27 built at “Krasnoye Sormovo” has been transferred to the Customer. The project of Marine Engineering Bureau with length 140.85 m has 6 cargo and 2 settling tanks with volume 8,100 m3, deadweight – 7,022 tons at sea wih draft 4.20 m, 5,420 tons in river with draft 3.60 m, operating speed – 11.0 knots.
In water areas of the Norwegian Sea international navy training exercises “Severny Orel–2012” has started. The Russian fleet is represented by the warship of the Northern Fleet “Admiral Chabanenko”, the Norwegian Navy is represented by offshore patrol frigate “Nordkapp”, and the USA Navy is represented by offshore patrol frigate “Nordkapp”, and the USA Navy is represented by guided missile destroyer “Farragut” (“Arleigh Burke” type).
USС changes tactics of yard construction in the Primorye: the first phase of “Zvezda-DSME” yard is constructed by USС itself now, and “Vostok-Raffles” yard is still under design.
