Ozernaya Verf (Laky Shipyard) launched the Patrol boat (Type 14M, serial No. 6). The vessel is designed for checking and supervision of the shipping safety in internal water and sea inshore ways by the Volga Administration of Gosmorrechnadzor (State Sea and River Supervision Service). The home port of the boat will be Nizhny Novgorod. The boat has the river-sea class and can patrol both the inshore marine area and mouths of big rivers. The boat is equipped with an additional steering post allowing steering the vessel under conditions of restricted visibility.
The lead yard of the Caspian Energy Group launched three tugs for the OMS Shipping company, Kazakhstan. Vessels with total power of the two main engines 880 kW are intended for towing non-propelled barges with displacement up to 4 000 t and speed up to 5 kt, for moving vessels in the water area of ports, for putting vessels to the berths, for participating in rescue operations.

Okskaya Shipyard launched the twelfth tanker (Type RST27, Volgo-Don Max class, sea/river deadweight 7030/5428) VF Tanker-22. The vessel was ordered by V.F. Tanker Company belonging to VBTH whose majority shareholder is Universal Cargo Logistics Holding consolidating a number of Russian shippers, stevedores and shipyards. The designer is the Marine Engineering Bureau. As compared with deadweight of V.F.Tanker-11, which was 6980/5378 t, the new vessel outperforms its forerunner by 50 tons having deadweight of 7030/5428 t. The trial speed is 11.7 knots.
Almaz Shipbuilding Company rolled out a new ship of Type 22460 named Izumrud (serial No. 504) from the new covered-in berth. Later, the ship was moved to the pontoon deck of Floating Dock No. 455 to be then launched, as reports the press office of the company. A day later Almaz launched the vessel from Floating Dock No. 455.
Shiprepair and Shipbuilding Corporation launched the border floating landing stage (Type 09662). The landing stage consists of six square metal pontoons with two solid, unbreakable, metal square towers. According to the company press office, the landing stage has a pontoon deck and two decks as part of the towers: top deck and safety deck. The towers are connected through the walkway in the bow part of the landing stage. The pontoons and towers are divided into 18 ballast and 6 buoyancy compartments.
The Zapolyarny diesel-electric ship of enhanced ice class was surveyed by the Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping. The ship owned by Norilsk Nickel was found compliant with the corresponding requirements of the Maritime Labour Convention, which comes into force on 20 August 2013.
The Moscow Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard handed over buoyage vessel of Type 3050
(serial No. 213, Russian River Registry class R 1.2, which means "river, capable of moving at wave height 1.2 m) to the State Commission. The vessel was built under the State Contract for the vessel construction within the programme "Service Fleet Renovation", as reports the press office of the Yard. The buoyage vessel was built for the needs of the Volga-Baltic State Basin Authority for Waterways and Shipping. The vessel home port will be Yaroslavl. On completing all the activities associated with the acceptance and signing of documents, the vessel will sail to the home port to be put into service the next week.
The Ministry of Defence assigned permanent military representative office 404 to Moscow Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard. The office checks and accepts military products for the Russian Navy.
Rosmorport State Corporation signed the trilateral agreements with Louis Shipmanagement ltd. and V.Ships Limited companies. Under the terms and conditions of agreements the Thomson Spirit and Louis Olympia cruise liners will be time-charted and guests on board the ship will be served, as reports the press office of the company. These agreements are based on the open request for proposal 2013. The mentioned ships will be used as floating hotels when arranging spectators and security staff at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi next year.
In Magadan port, a three-shift operation and improved technology of fleet loading will be introduced to reduce the time of port handling.
