Over 70 reactors from decommissioned nuclear submarines are intended for disposal in Primorie till 2020. 54 reactors are already in Primorie and 19 more will be delivered from Kamchatka. Their preparation for long-term storage will be performed using facilities provided by Japan to Russia: sea tugboat “Sumire”, two gantry cranes, 10- and 30-ton lifting capacity, and 3500 DWT floating drydock “Sakura”. Over the last 20 years, Japan has participated in international programs for disposal of nuclear submarines in the Pacific region.
Starting from с May 25, 2012, inland waterways of the Russian Federation will be open for navigation of sports sailing vessels and pleasure boats under foreign flags.

A series of these Project vessels is built by Nevsky Shipbuilding Yard; completion will be done by Onega Shipbuilding Yard. The customer is North-Western Shipping Company. The Project RSD49 was developed by the Marine Engineering Bureau. River DWT: 4520; max sea DWT: 7150. Length: 140 m; width: 16.70 m. Cargo hold capacity: 10,920 m3.
Leningrad Shipyard Pella has laid down a keel for a new fishing vessel. The Norwegian vessel Gier-II designed for longline fishing was taken as the prototype. The engineering project was designed by Macduff Ship Design. Length: 47.5 m; refrigerator space: 500 m3. The vessel is built for Persey-Pella Ltd., a joint venture of Pella and Persey Ltd.
Yantar Shipbuilding Yard has commenced sea trials of the second frigate for the Indian Navy.
Tarkash (Quiver), the second of three Project 11356 frigates, completed a program of shore acceptance trials and came to a base in Baltiysk for its sea trials on May 24. The sea trials will be carried out in the Baltic Sea.

United Shipbuilding Corporation has signed an agreement with Exxon to build 15 drilling platforms in the Kara Sea by autumn 2013. The Corporation also intends to construct a new materials research center in the value of RUR 300 mln. in Skolkovo. The cost of one platform will be $800 mln.
