Krasnoye Sormovo Plant commenced trials of the tenth tanker of type RST27 launched on 23 April. The company specialists together with the customer's representatives will check the work of all the ship's systems and mechanisms, measure speed and maneuvering features as well as test the propulsion system. The tankers were designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau, Odessa and classed by the Russian Maritime Register as KM Ice1 R2 AUT1-ICS OMBO VCS ECO-S Oil tanker (ESP). The draft design was prepared by the Volga-Caspian Design Bureau, Nizhny Novgorod.
The Vikramaditya aircraft-carrier, which is now in the flooded dock of Sevmash, was shown to reporters. In April the shipyard succeeded in tough operation on the transfer of the ship from the berth to the dock. Now, specialists inspect the ship bottom: - Bottom-board equipment.- Propeller-rudder system. The paint coating will be partially restored. After the scheduled maintenance, the ship will be prepared for sea acceptance trials, which will begin on 3 July in the White Sea. 

On 14 May Moscow Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard launched the lead crew boat Katran of type 21770 (serial No. 092). The harbour and sea acceptance trials are expected to take a month; thereafter the boat will be handed over to the customer, Yantar Baltic Shipyard, for the Russian Navy. The boat was designed by the Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau.

As reported by Kommersant , the restructuring project for the United Shipbuilding Corporation being under review provides for the transferring of all key functions from the departments to vice-presidents who will check the basic activities of the USC. According to the newspaper sources, the draft was prepared jointly with the Military Industrial Committee and it will be implemented by the future USC president.

The Yuri Ivanov special-purpose vessel of type 18280 will be launched in September 2013, as reports Central Naval Portal with reference to the director general of Severnaya Verf (Northern Shipyard) Alexander Ushakov. According to Mr. Ushakov, the Yuri Ivanov ship will be handed over to the fleet in 2014. Earlier it became known that as per decision of the Federal Agency, Severnaya Verf (Northern Shipyard) was given a status of a sole supplier of the communication ship Yuri Ivanov.

Almaz Shipbuilding Company laid a keel of sea self-propelled crane of type 02690. The designer is Spetssudoproekt, St. Petersburg. The crane is intended for hoisting; shipping label cargoes on board surface ships, submarines and vessels, standard cargoes; covering fastening chains of floating docks; installing and removing road equipment, shipping cargoes on the upper deck. Full displacement: about 2 000 tons

On 16 May 2013, Nevsky Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard handed over a self-propelled dry-cargo vessel NEVA-LEADER 3 of type RSD49 with 7 150 tons deadweight to the Northwestern Shipping Company. The designer is St. Petersburg Marine Engineering Bureau.
