The second serial corvette Boiky of type 20380 will be handed over to the Russian Navy on 16 May, as reports the press office of Severnaya Verf (Northern Shipyard) where this ship passed the final stage of state trials. On 16 May 2013 at 12.00, Severnaya Verf shipyard will sign the Acceptance Act and will raise the Russian naval flag on board the Boiky.
The Sindurakshak submarine sailed from Severodvinsk to Mumbai. The diesel-electric submarine was repaired and updated by Zvyozdochka for two years. From the shipyard berth, the ship put off on 29 January. In history of the Indian submarine fleet, it was the first transfer commenced in ice conditions. The Sindurakshak with the Russian and Indian crews on board sailed through the White, Barents, Norwegian, North, Mediterranean, Red Seas, Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The transfer was successful.
At shipyard "Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co.Ltd." On 4 May 2013, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co.Ltd., South Korea launched the first semi-refrigerating LPG carrier ordered by Sovcomflot for future use under the contract with SIBUR petrochemical holding, as reports Sovcomflot press office. Vessels are being constructed under the supervision of two classification societies, Lloyd's Register (LR) and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

Ships of this type are intended for guarding water areas of naval bases in the Russian Navy. Repair of the Aurora cruiser will take at least two years and will cost one milliard roubles, as reported the advisory expert of the St. Petersburg governor, captain rank I, Igor Kurdin. In the near future, the Aurora cruiser will be again included into the Navy. The crew will consist of 16 servicemen and 16 free people. As before, the cruiser will be included in the Red Banner Leningrad naval base.
In May 2013, Baltic Shipyard will get advanced automatic flat section welding machines. Installation and setting-up of the equipment will have been completed by October 2013, as reports RBC. Baltic Shipyard purchased this production line to modernise the production process for ice-breakers of up to 100 MW. As reported before, the total modernisation cost will be 650 million roubles, where 230 million roubles to be public finance under the federal target programme, the rest to be own funds.
In Blagoveshchensk, the shipyard launched the first diving boat for the Pacific Fleet. The ship with displacement of 80 tons is almost ready. Now, they are preparing for navigation. The diving boat length is about 40 m, the crew capacity is up to 8 in number. The framing is made of steel (mainly). No special materials were used for construction. Components and equipment for the ship are supplied from different foreign countries, including Croatia and Austria. This particular ship has been built for about a year when material was bought. It is built for the Navy, particularly for the Pacific Fleet. The first boat will sail to Sakhalin; the second, to another place.
Two new motor vessels built by Samus Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Yard, Tomsk region, were launched. They will operate in the Ob basin rivers. In 2009 to 2010, the shipyard was bankrupted. After that, it was purchased by the Siberian Logistic Centre that includes Tomsk Shipping Company. In 2011, the shipping company got a state order to build eighteen new ships by 2015. In August 2012, the company launched first two motor vessels for the Khabarovsk Territory.
On 5 May 2013, they launched the first of the two VLCC tankers (Very Large Crude Carrier) ordered by Sovcomflot. Sovcomflot is one of the worldwide leaders as regards product tankers as well as crude oil tankers of standard size, the Aframax and the Suezmax. Both VLCC tankers under construction will operate under long-term time-charter agreements with PetroChina International company, China (branch of the Chinese national oil and gas corporation CNPC) on crude oil shipping. In December 2011, the companies signed the corresponding agreements that, in particular, provide for transporting oil by Softcomflot fleet from the countries of Near East, West Africa and Venezuela to China.
