Moscow River Shipping Company and Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company are going to develop nautical tourism through the use of newly constructed ships.
Konstantin Anisimov, chairman of the Board of Moscow River Shipping Company, and his colleague Rauf Veliev from Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company have concluded a memorandum of cooperation in cruise shipping traffic in the Caspian Basin.
It is expected that the Petr Veliky passenger ship (type PV300VD) will cruise in the Caspian sea. At present, the ship is under construction at Astrakhan Lotos Shipyard, according to NewsInform.
The partners are looking forward to develop nautical tourism in the Black Sea and domestic waterways: RF – Astrakhan – Caspian Sea ports, Astrakhan – Makhachkala – Baku, Moscow – Baku and other routes.
