Finnish Arctech Helsinki Shipyard bears losses after the delay of four ships for the Sakhalin-2 project.
Sovcomflot imposes a fine on
Arctech Helsinki Shipyard (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, Finland).
According to Kommersant, the reason for such a decision was the delay of four ships for the Sakhalin-2 project (supply vessel Gennady Nevelskoy and three support vessels Stepan Makarov, Fyodor Ushakov and Yevgeny Primakov).
The fine amounted approximately to USD 50 Million. According to the newspaper, this fine along with the losses on icebreaker Murmansk for Rosmorport will prevent the Finnish company from making any profit for the next seven years.
