The engines and reduction gears have been loaded to the forward engine room of the type 20380 corvette Retivy. The day before, the second pair of gensets was loaded on board the ship. In several days, the main engines are to be loaded to the aft engine room.
Now the shipbuilders will proceed to the preliminary installation of the gensets, reduction gears, and main engines, reports the Severnaya Verf press office.
The next construction stage shall include placement and welding of superstructure blocks and loading intermediate and thrust shafts. Currently, outfitting is in progress, bosses and shaft line brackets are installed, and preparations for propeller shafts installation are underway. Rooms are being prepared for primary painting. The launching of Retivy is planned for Q2 2019. The corvette is to be delivered to the Navy in 2020.
