Sea Launch to Be Sold for 15B

It is according to the Rocket and Space Corporation report.

According to this document, the assets purchase price is 6.28 Billion Rubles and the value of transaction shall not exceed 15 Billion Rubles. The transaction was supported by 149 thousand of Energia Corporation shareholders, 30 thousand of shareholders were NAY. The revenue is first of all to service debts to external creditors not affiliated with Rocket and Space Corporation Energia.

In September 2016, S7 Group already announced the Sea Launch Project purchasing. The subject of transaction is the Sea Launch Commander ship and Odyssey platform in the Pacific Ocean with missile handling equipment installed on board, ground equipment at the Long Beach base port, and the Sea Launch trademark. In December 2017 under the order of Rocket and Space Corporation Energia, the S7 Space acted as an operator for the launch of AngoSat 1 communication satellite from the Baikonur and performed the satellite technical integration with Zenit missile.
