Iran and Kazakhstan created joint shipping company for development of their double-sided trade, reports the Iranian news agency Tasnim with reference to announcement of the head of the Iranian shipping company IRISL Mohammad Saidi.
Iran and the state railway company of Kazakhstan created a joint shipping company, for operation on the routes connecting ports in the south of Iran to Central Asia, Saidi explained.
The headquarters of the company will be in the Iranian seaport of Bender-Enzeli. The company will open the representation in the Kazakhstan seaport of Aktau.
The agreement on creation of a joint Iran-Kazakhstan shipping company was signed on April 12, 2016 within the meeting of presidents of two countries in Tehran.
