A fire broke out on large freezer trawler Danko in the aft store in Nahodka during the repairs; at 3.57 p.m. local time the fire was extinguished.
The fire on trawler Danko was extinguished on Friday in Nahodka, according to TASS with the reference to Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre in Vladivostok.
The trawler is under repair in floating dock. The fire resulted in no casualties; 46 persons were evacuated from Danko.
"The fire broke out on large freezer trawler Danko in the aft store during the repairs; at 3.57 p.m. local time the fire was extinguished. Nahodka EMERCOM fire teams evacuated 46 persons," reported the source.
The fire covered 50 sqm, according to the EMERCOM.
