A Finnish delegation headed by Mikko Hautala, the Finnish ambassador to the Russian Federation, is visiting Primorski Krai.
Representatives of ABB Marine and Ports, Craftmer, Champion Door, Wartsila Vostok, Zak Export Consulting and other Finnish companies arrived in Primorsky Krai as a delegation headed by Mikko Hautala, the Finnish ambassador to Russia. At the meeting with Alexander Kostenko, the first vice governor of Primorski Krai, the visitors were informed about the opportunities of cooperation in shipbuilding.
"We are developing a program for localized procurement of spare parts and components for shipbuilding. These projects are interesting for potential investors, as there is an obvious market. We are also going to run new production projects in shipbuilding and considering the possibility to organize construction of the fishing fleet ships," said Kostenko, according to the press-office of the Primorski Krai administration.
Finnish businessmen, in their turn, presented their products and plans of cooperation with Primorski Krai companies.
Meanwhile, the Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Centre already cooperates successfully with some Finnish companies in supply of marine equipment for shipbuilding projects.
