The Yantar Shipyard has delivered destroyer Bespokoiniy to the Baltic Fleet after repair and conversion.
This was reported by the press-office of the shipyard.
On 17 April destroyer Bespokoiniy was towed to the Baltic Fleet base in Baltiysk from the Yantar shipyard where it dwelt since September 2016. During this period the specialists of the shipyard carried out a large scope of work in conversion and repair of the underwater hull.
The propeller shafts were removed out of the hull, and the hull itself was sealed and painted so that the ship could stay afloat without being maintained by a permanent crew.
These activities were carried out as a part of the preparing the destroyer for museumization and subsequent transfer to the Patriot park in Kronstadt.
