This setup is much more flexible and gives a higher maneuverability than traditional main propellers and rudders, as the azimuth thrusters can be given to any direction rotating 360 degrees, and more direct than traditional propellers with pitch and normal rudders. The flexibility of the 2 azimuth thrusters and 1 main propeller include the possibility to operate 1 azimuth at a time, 2 azimuths at a time, 1 main propeller or any combination, meaning the flexibility are higher than in normal vessels with 2 main propellers. It can also give fuel saving during transit.

- very good fuel oil capacity (1,954 m3) and dry bulk tanks (403 m3)
- can burn on HFO (IFO-40): cheaper than MGO, good for ocean towage, etc
