The territory of "Ship repair-West" is located in a city Svetliy which is an industrial city-companion of Kaliningrad.
Svetliy is connected with Kaliningrad by road and railway (20 km.). Distance to the airport is 38 km.
The enterprise is located on the bank of the navigable nonfreezing Kalinigradsky channel connecting seaport Baltiysk with port Kaliningrad, in 10 miles from Kaliningrad and in 10 miles from Baltiysk. The enterprise occupies the space of 20 hectares.
The ship-repair complex has berthing lines in length of 720 metres equipped with six portal cranes by load-carrying capacity from 10 to 32 tons. The complex is capable to accept vessels with draft up to 7 metres.
The complex includes:
- Two floating docks (dock weight to 4500 tons);
- Cross-section слип (load-carrying capacity to 400 tons);
- Two blocks of producing workshops of total area 24000 м2, equipped with bridge cranes with payload up to 5 to 20 tons and non-productive departments;
- Auxiliary vessels (two tows capacity 1000 - 1200 h.p., clean up boat);
- Automobile technics.
